Long-term breastfeeding could lead to cavities

Attention to anyone breastfeeding after 2 years old. You aren't doing your child's teeth any favors.

A study out of Brazil says that children who were breastfed after 24 months old were more likely to develop cavities.

The reason? After 2 years old, usually the feedings were on demand instead of on a schedule. It led to a lesser likelihood that the child's teeth would be brushed after feeding.
