The 2017 Grammy Awards are right around the corner, and the Recording Academy has just announced two very special performances that will be included in the show this year: A tribute to Prince and a tribute to George Michael.

Both music icons passed away last year, Prince in April, and George Michael on Christmas Day.

Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy, says of Sunday's tributes:

"George Michael and Prince were pop icons who showcased rare musical genius and otherworldly charisma. While each possessed a distinct style and sound, they were both adored by audiences worldwide. The passings of two such creative innovators were a huge loss for the creative community; The Recording Academy is humbled to pay homage to their tremendous legacies on the GRAMMY stage."

It's not known who will be performing the tributes, but it doesn't look like we'll find out until it happens. CBS reports "Performers and songs will not be announced in advance, so you'll have to watch the live broadcast to see who participates in the musical memorials."

The artist who confirmed to be performing at the Grammys this weekend include Lady Gaga, who is collaborating with rock legends Metallica, The Weeknd with Daft Punk, Anderson .Paak with A Tribe Called Quest, Alicia Keys with Maren Morris, Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, Chance The Rapper, Kelsea Ballerini, Lukas Graham, and Little Big Town (who will take the stage with Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, and Andra Day as they pay tribute to the Bee Gees and the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever), among others.

The Grammys will take place on Sunday, February 12th, hosted by James Corden. Fans can watch live at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
