Justin Bieber Agrees To UFC Fight With Tom Cruise During Secret Phone Call

Justin Bieber may have been playing up his Tom Cruise UFC challenge as a mere joke, but the pop titan's dare to take on the Hollywood titan came from a place of authenticity.

In a new report from TMZ, which was published on Thursday (June 20), the celebrity gossip outlet revealed that Ari Emanuel, the co-CEO of the William Morris Endeavor agency that owns UFC, called Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, and asked about the seriousness of the challenge. Emanuel declared that the fight needed to happen and, Dana White, the President of UFC, chimed in on the call, urging that he was 100 percent down with the showdown. During the phone conference, Braun made it very clear that Bieber would "absolutely fight if Tom wanted to do it." Additionally, Emanuel said that he believed the 56-year-old actor would thoroughly agree to enter the Octogon to take on the 25-year-old chart-topper.

After Bieber's message went viral in early June, the chart-topper spoke with TMZ photographers, admitting that he was "just playing" around. "It was just a random tweet. I do that stuff sometimes," the singer said in the video. "I think he would probably whoop my a** in a fight," he went on, adding of the action star's "dad strength." Seems like this showdown might become a reality, after all.
