Adele owned the 2017 Grammys and was the talk of the town after wiping the competition and performing a tribute to the late, great George Michael. But amidst all the chatter about the British chart-topper, we missed out on the moment when she broke her Album of the Year trophy in half at the podium.
It appeared to happen after the singer devoted the latter part of her speech to the one and only Beyoncé as well as her her family. "The academy, I love you, my manager, my husband, and my son. You're the only reason I do it. Thank you so much. Thank you very much to everybody," she said of receiving the top honor.
