Is the ‘Sleep Diet’ the Answer to All Our Prayers?!

According to a study published in The Lancet, the “sleep diet” might be the key to your health and weight. 

Sleep, as explained in the study, is crucial for metabolic function and hormone stability, both of which play a pivotal role in your overall health.

Per the study, when participants slept less, they were more stressed out and their metabolism slowed down.

A lack of sleep also led to a sharp decrease in leptin which is the hormone responsible for regulating fat storage. 

And — yikes! — there was an increase in gherlin, the hormone that increases appetite. 

While all you have to do is sleep at night — or your regular bedtime — adhering to that regular bedtime appears to be the hardest part of the “diet” for people.
